Travels of Winnie

Winnie was purchased by Harry Colebourn at the railway station in White River Ontario in August of 1914 while he was en route to Valcartier Quebec. From Quebec, Winnie accompanied Harry to the Canadian encampment at Salisbury Plain. In December 1914, Harry took Winnie to the London Zoo shortly before heading off for the Front.
